A recap of KgPSA’s 3rd Mini-Congress

October 8, 2024

On October 5-6, 2024, Accelsiors had the honor of sponsoring the 3rd Mini-Congress of Kragujevac Pharmacy Student’s Association (KgPSA).
This year’s topic, “Anxiety-an Obstacle to Success”, provided students with valuable insights into overcoming both professional and academic challenges.

The Mini-Congress was held in the Amphitheater of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Kragujevac bringing together students, academics, and professionals.
The Accelsiors’ team found great value in connecting with the pharmaceutical talents of tomorrow and hearing firsthand experiences from various positions
in the field. The organizers’ hospitality encouraged these connections throughout the event, creating a rich environment for insights and potential future collaborations.

I believe that the value of such projects is determined by the number of connections a person establishes through them.”
– Ivana Bogdanovic

Anxiety is a prevalent challenge among today’s youth. The lectures were structured to complement one another and were delivered by reputable experts on the topic. At the same time, the panel discussions were a great experience of joining a group of distinguished colleagues from the field, gaining new information and helping the students better understand their position within the industry.

A notable feature of the congress was the panel discussion titled “What After College?”, where four pharmacy alumni, including our Business Opportunity Researcher, Ivana Bogdanović, shared their individual career journeys post-graduation. Alongside Sava Trajković, Ksenija Obradović, and Vojkan Pantelić, Ivana shared her advice and insights into the challenges and rewards of transitioning from student life to a professional career.

“The panel discussion allowed us to network with seasoned professionals
and hear about their career trajectories
& future plans” – Dimitrije Maskovic
