Together we will beat cancer. This year’s theme for World Cancer Day speaks volumes of the importance and magnitude of what we can achieve by working together. But it goes well beyond the research aspect. Sadly nearly 40% of the population will be diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lifetime, and those of us who haven’t been affected directly, most probably understand how heavy the burden is by having our loved ones, friends and family, who have been affected.
The overall focus is to close the care gap, beat it through research, or just holding a patient’s hand. Now, more than ever, we understand the problems we are facing in providing healthcare, as well as focusing on research to ensure pristine quality medication and treatment is available for cancer patients. This February 4th we should all play our part in this and do what we can to help craft a cancer-free world and a better future for the coming generations.
Closing the care gap means also that we listen actively to patient’s needs, ensuring effective communication and gentle care. In doing so, Accelsiors is committed to develop these values together with the Sponsors on cancer research and clinical trials. Accelsiors show a varied experience from Phase I first in human, to Phase III registration trials, with a significant record of accomplishments. Furthermore, we have been involved in different targeting therapies, such as small molecules, biosimilars, vaccines, pegylated filgrastim and monoclonal antibodies.
At Accelsiors we design state-of-the-art Oncology trials such as basket, umbrella, and adaptive trials, due to our access to patients with rare biomarkers. This 4th February, as well as all year round, and for years to come, Accelsiors is committed to playing our part in closing the care gap and seeking a cancer-free future.
Together we will beat cancer!
